The Clinical Director – Dr Uchenna Okoye
Dr Uchenna Okoye qualified at the prestigious Guy’s Hospital, London.
She is the Clinical Director of London Smiling Dental Group and one of an elite group of dentists with membership in both the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She was on the board of the British Association of Cosmetic Dentistry for over three years and help shape the training of cosmetic dentists in the UK today. Dr Okoye lectures and works closely with Aesthetic dentists in the USA to ensure her clients have the best of all cutting edge techniques available in the world.
She has completed her training in Aesthetic Dentistry at the New York University (Rosenthal Institute) and lectures widely. As an honorary clinician at St George’s Hospital London she routinely dealt with complex cases referred by other dentists and brings this expertise to her clients general dentistry needs.
Beyond running her own multi-clinic practice, Dr Okoye appears often on television and radio and is a frequent contributing expert on the health panels of multiple boards and magazines. She is the official dentist of Channel 4′s popular makeover programme 10 years younger. A brand ambassador for companies such as OralB and Corsodyl, she is well known for her passion for creating confidence with healthy beautiful smiles
The Dentist – Dr Jasmin Piran
Dr Piran qualified from Guy’s Hospital London. She is passionate about giving you pain free dentistry, and has a psychology degree based on research in the management of anxious dental patients.
She is active in postgraduate education with a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
She is a proficient musician, playing the piano, viola and violin.
The Oral Surgeon – Dr. Dapo Akintola
Dr Akintola began his career in oral surgery as a registrar at Guy’s and has gained vast experience working in London hospitals such as King’s Hospital and St George’s.
Dr Dapo Akintola is a Specialist Oral Surgeon and works part-time at King’s College Hospital.
The Endodontist – Dr Julia Basel

The Periodontist – Dr Federico Tinti
Dr Tinti qualified in Italy in 1998 an worked in General Practice for two years. He then went to The New York University (USA) for one year to obtain his first Post Graduate qualification in Periodontics. In 2001 he started his second Post Graduate course in Periodontics (MSc) at Guy’s Hospital-KCL graduating in 2003.
He is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and has a considerable experience of Practice limited to Periodontology.
The Orthodontist – Dr Leone Giacosa
Dr Giacosa qualified with honours in1997 and attained his Orthodontic Specialisation 3 years later again with honours. He is on the Specialist list in Orthodontics of the General Dental CouncilDr Giacosa has been published in several Orthodontic publications and has lectured both nationally and internationally. His special interest in multidisciplinary approach means he works closely with other specialists to solve the most complicated treatment plans successfully. In addition, he has extensive training in TemporoMandibularJoint (TMJ) dysfunction and its treatment.Outside of dentistry, Dr Giacosa is a keen tennis player and he is passionate about theatre and classical music. He plays the piano and he is studying the violin.
