Bad childhood experiences led to a total fear of dentists and loss of numerous teeth. Marie hated her smile and lost confidence often covering her mouth when she smiled or talked to people. Intensive gum therapy was first needed to get her mouth healthy. Her old silver fillings were removed and any underlying tooth decay. A full mouth reconstruction was then undertaken using crowns, veneers and porcelain bridges to give her the transforming smile to restore her confidence.
